Stakeholder & Community Consultation
Engaging, consulting and involving local communities and people in the design and ongoing delivery of services is a primary concern for public and voluntary sector agencies. Step Ahead’s consultants combine an in-depth understanding of the importance of consultation with practical experience of developing consultation and engagement strategies and using a variety of consultation techniques and tools.We can work with you to:
- develop a Consultation/Engagement Strategy and Action Plan;
- organise and facilitate small and large-scale consultation events and workshops;
- engage and consult harder-to-reach groups;
- analyse consultation findings and translate them into practical recommendations for action;
- provide feedback to consultees in an appropriate format.
Examples of our work include:
- developing an Engagement and Consultation Framework and Action Plan for the Brighton & Hove PCT and City Council to engage with communities of interest across the region;
- consultation with over 130 voluntary and community sector (VCS) and public sector agencies to develop a regional economic strategy and action plan for VCS engagement in the economic agenda for the North West Regional Development Agency;
